Well. Nothing bad happened in the hurricane except extreme boredom and desire to be alone with my cats.

The subway reopened at noon .... So I finally got back to my apartment!

Monday?

It's Sandy-time, the hurricane arrives. We buy some pizza slices, I sleep in a warm bed for the first time in several months, we clean beer off the floor and. The hurricane hits us...with not so much rain. Just wind. And we didn't even lose power. The city shut down for the day; are my cats dead?

A hurricane is brewing and I spend all day preparing for a Halloween party that is only truly epic in my brain.

More and more and more Halloween decorations!!!!!! So many skulls I am in Heaven!!!!! I made a garland of skulls! TG I have a job that allows me to make crafts at work???? Then I went running because I felt so fat I wanted to die... But I did see so many people on costumes.

Tuesday of swaps hearings and printing and council manic visits.

Back in action. Spent all day in city hall then got super drunk with a fave new friend and ??? Missed some lame meetings because I was at a decadent open bar event for my cushy job.

Went apple picking, !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hunted down some honey crisp and plucked the shit out of them.

Was so hungry I ate some nachos ad then everyone ate taco bell???????????/KFC.

Then football & pumpkin beer, decadent high pasta, crappy hipster bar, it's Sunday. Day of the lord.

I pooped (sharted) in my boyfriends bed today. It was an awesome story to tell all day!

Uhhh my boyfriend bought me an anniversary gift today despite the fact that we have no anniversary.

It's a bear hat with built in mittens-scarf-paws. Yes????

We had a double date with the secondary love of my life (LOML) and his beautiful yoga teacher girlfriend. And then LOML and I bought decorations and ghosts candy craft materials and glittery skulls for our Halloween party!!!

Reunited and it feel so good .

Nice things do happen sometimes. A little girl lost her bird and someone brought it back (sans one eye though.)

We started selling hot drinks today. Weirdly it was 70 degrees in philly.

You can fence off a corporate campus from north Camden but you can't keep all of Camden outside the gates.

I passed out popsicles to succubi of the corporate teat today. Most of the women were pregnant and the men were smarmy idiots.

The grass was perfectly manicured and the roads were the smoothest I've ever seen. Corporate dominion can seem so benign until you think about the fact that they paid thousands of dollars more to cater a private event for 100 people with 8 food trucks than they paid in city property taxes for a year.

Sunday October 14

Today was long and eventful and life changing. I put my car away in New Jersey for the next 6 months. I have no car???????? I parked it at a friends house and symbolically walked across the tacony-palmyra bridge back to Pennsylvania.

Uhhh my little KIA has gotten me through a lot. We drove to Phoenix and across the country (sand cruise control) and all over the unpaved roads of Camden and Philadelphia.

I smoked a lot of cigarettes and ate a lot of Wendy's hamburgers and drank a lot of monster energy drinks in there. I cried a lot and had a lot of painful decompressing moments and anxiety attacks in there.

It's where go when I went to be alone, a little traveling pod that made me feel independent.

And today I took my last grocery trip in it???? What the fuck am I supposed todo now??? Like 4 months ago I barely knew how to use the train in Philadelphia. Now I have to take the bus to the grocery store or carry heavy groceries long distances like a poor person. (fun fact: I applied for food stamps last night.)

I feel really sad???? And now I am really one of the faceless powerless immobile masses.

Okay well. Bye for now car???? I'll come back for you as soon as I can afford your insurance??

Also, I saw Jesse Jackson today. That wasn't life changing as much.

I also tried to make chicken tikka masala in a crock pot today. It sucked.

It's finally fall! The weather has been in the 50s. The demand for frozen treats is down. Demand for blankets and pumpkin flavored things ? Up.

I ran jobs club, crossed the city going to meetings, and was super stressed all day. it sucked.

Monday October 8

Its Columbus day! I had Monday off as usual but also as usual I spent all day laboring. I made a lot of name tags and found some jobs.

I did get to eat at the cafeteria of the 1% though ! Look at this delish salad! It was like $4.89????

Sunday! October! 7!

Duhhhhhh we lazed around and had to dupe some poor sports bar manager into turning the packers game on.

Then I sat in 5 hours of meetings about schools & prisons. At night in a house with only solar powered electricity.

People never cease to amaze or frustrate me.

Contractors are fixing the back abandoned half of this inhabited building. Thank god???? I think about what it must be like to live in a half abandoned apartment complex all the time. A lot of pests.

We watched the iggles game and the packers game and the patriots game. I love the social aspect of football. We went to a puerto rican bar, and it was
so fucking rewardingly awesome.

I sold Popsicles at a beautiful autumn festival. A band played wonderful folk music and I thought I was in a dream. Everyone danced around in the leaves and maybe I felt the romanticism of fall for the first time.

Later we played kings and LOLed to death. Some days are so wonderful.
