WASHINGTON DC

apvaobslsblbdlbd I rode a bike today to travel around!!!!! WTF! I thought I would never be able to accomplish that??? I was really scared but I wore a helmet and I didn't fall or crash!

We went to a really crazy swanky market where we bought disgusting pork jowl.... Then we went to the Smithsonian Postal Museum!

Then I fell asleep while everyone watched Downton Abbey. I am soooo bad at watching that show.

Canvassing Day! Even though I missed a really fun day of school canvassing in Philly, I got to go canvassing in DC trying to organize homeowners in foreclosure.

It was just like old times with my favorite union BFF. We had 15 attempts, 2 completes with no phone number acquired, a billion houses with no condo number and another billion abandoned houses.

We did eat delicious Pho for lunch with an impossibly large amount of Salvadoreans though? Suburban DC is a lot more fun and crazy than downtown.

Ugh #unionlife. Am I ready to go back? I actually think so.

Day 170

Friday !

A day I boarded the bus and headed down to Washington DC! The bus ride was interminable. I got sit in the back of the bus though???

And some insane fruit compote with sugar canes in it that i got to chew!!!! It's so hard to put into My Fitness Pal. But so delicious and fun to eat. I LOVE my job???

Day 168

Tonight I think I was in the midst of a genuinely angry mob for the first time ever. A group of north philly ( some organiZed....the majority just showed up because PA is fucking with them) literally took over a school board meeting, then shut it down, quoted Public Enemy?? Accused everyone of blatant racism??? It was FUCKING AWESOME.

Doing Ripped in 30 with my cats!!! And also with Morton salt containers as my weights. I have two??? No idea why.

Day 166

Weird extra day after my first Friday & Saturday nights off in 8 months.

I don't have any Internet so???? I made kissey faces at my cat and watched Ripped in 30. I did not do Ripped in 30... I just observed Jillian Michaels' body doing extremely sexy things ???????
